Mark your calendar: Horizon Europe Info Days, from June 28th to July 9th, 2021



The European Commission is organizing a serial of events aimed at creating more awareness on Horizon Europe. The 10-day event will give prospective applicants and other stakeholders of EU research and innovation the opportunity to get information and ask questions about main funding instruments, processes of Horizon Europe and what is new by addressing 9 themes, each featuring a program of exclusive discussions and hands-on sessions dedicated to a different cluster or part of the new program. The Horizon Europe Info days will be open for participation without prior registration.

The Horizon Europe Info days will be open for participation without prior registration except for Cluster 3 (Civil Security for Society). Below is the breakdown of the schedule of the events.

28/06/2021: Research Infrastructures -Research infrastructures, including the European Open Science Cloud, are crucial enablers of research and technological innovation and drivers of multidisciplinary and data-intensive science.

29/06/2021 - 30/06/2021: Cluster 4 (Digital, Industry & Space) - This info day aims to inform (potential) applicants about topics included in the Cluster 4 'Digital, Industry and Space' work programme of 2021.

30/06/2021 : Cluster 3 - Civil Security for Society - The first EU cluster 3 event is organized by SEREN4 (the security NCPs network) in close cooperation with the European Commission and the Research Executive Agency.

01/07/2021:  Cluster 2  (Culture, Creativity & Inclusive Society) - Under the Pillar 2 of Horizon Europe, Cluster 2 "Culture, Creativity and Inclusive Societies" focuses on challenges related to democratic governance, cultural heritage and the creative economy, as well as social and economic transformations.

01/07/2021: The Marie Skodowska-Curie Actions: what’s new under Horizon Europe - Under the Pillar 1 of Horizon Europe, the Marie Sk?odowska-Curie Actions fund excellent research and innovation and equip researchers at all stages of their career with new knowledge and skills.

02/07/2021: Cluster 1 (Health) - This info day aims to inform (potential) applicants about topics included in the Cluster 1 'Health' work programme of 2021.

05/07/2021 - 06/07/202: Cluster 5 (Climate, Energy & Mobility) - Cluster 5; Climate, Energy and Mobility focusses on the twin green and digital transitions to achieve climate neutrality in Europe by 2050

07/07/2021 - 08/07/2021: Cluster 6 - Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture & Environment - Under the Pillar 2 of Horizon Europe, Cluster 6 aims to reduce environmental degradation and tackle the biodiversity decline on land, waters and oceans, through transformative change including with digitalisation. It deals with natural resources, food security, agriculture, fisheries, aquaculture, food systems, circular economy, sustainable bioeconomy and forestry.

09/07/2021: ERA & Widening - This Info day will concentrate on the Horizon Europe part for Widening participation and strengthening the ERA. Presentations will explain main conditions of the calls and will especially concentrate on various novelties, also on new actions. Enough time will be dedicated to Q&As, so that as many issues as possible could be clarified.
