The STI Conference will comprise plenary sessions, Thematic Areas based-breakaway Sessions and poster presentations session, while the APPPF Dialogue will comprise plenary sessions and exhibitions.

The STI Conference will emphasize knowledge generation, translation and realization, focused on bringing convergence between research, innovation and sustainable development, while the Dialogue Forum, will provide an opportunity for information across the academia, the public and the private sector.

The event is expected to provide a platform for stakeholders to strategize, deliberate and reinforce the East African Community (EAC) Partner States’ commitment to the promotion of Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) as an essential component in driving industrialization and sustainable development.

Participation will be at the participant’s own full cost, except in a few specific cases where the costs will be covered by the organizers.
