The EAC recognises education as a critical driver of socio-economic transformation, regional integration, and sustainable development. Partner States have made strong commitments to develop and strengthen their education systems through various national and regional efforts. Following the successful 1st Edition held in August 2024 at EAC Headquarters in Arusha, Tanzania, the Community prepares to hold the 2nd Edition from 25th-28th August 2026 in Nairobi, Kenya. This Conference aims to bring together key stakeholders, actors, and partners in the education sector to exchange experiences and develop strategies for addressing challenges facing the region’s education sector.
