12–16 October 2026 · Harare, Republic of Zimbabwe. The programme moves through youth leadership, policy alignment, evidence, industry partnerships, financing, inclusion and commitments.
Africa Skills Week 2026 connects education transformation, TVET reform, enterprise productivity, innovation and inclusion—grounded in Agenda 2063 and Africa’s drive for resilient, competitive economies.
Africa’s youthful population, expanding AfCFTA markets and industrial ambitions create extraordinary potential. Yet skills mismatches, uneven training quality, limited work-based learning, fragmented labour-market information and barriers to inclusion continue to constrain productivity and opportunity.
CESA 2026–2035 and the Continental TVET Strategy 2025–2034 create a new continental policy cycle. ASW 2026 is designed as the practical bridge between those strategies and national and regional implementation.
The green transition, digitisation and artificial intelligence make action more urgent. Training systems must anticipate change, employers must help shape learning, and qualifications must support trust, lifelong learning and mobility across the continent.
