The 12th lWA Symposium on Tastes, Odours, and Algal Toxins in Drinking Water Sources andAquaculture will be held on August 29 to September 1, 2025, in Shanghai, China. The symposiumwill primarily address issues related to tastes, odours, and algal toxins in water sources andaquaculture environments, including those caused by the abnormal arowth of cvanobacteria andother factors affecting water quality and sensory properties.Major topics will include sensoryevaluation methods, odorant detection and identification techniaues, taste and odour compoundgeneration mechanisms, and control strategies. The symposium will serve as a platform for researchers and practitioners from the water supplyand aquaculture industries, promoting Industry-Academia-Research collaboration and mutual benefit.
