About the 2026 Convening
Since 2023, the Annual Convening of the Africa Health Collaborative has grown into a platform for advancing African-led, youth-driven health innovation and collaboration. Each Convening has intentionally built on the last, reflecting AHC’s commitment to strengthening inclusive and sustainable health ecosystems across the continent.

Africa Unlocked: Co-creating Impactful and Sustainable Youth-led Health Innovations
At a time when young Africans are reshaping the health sector as entrepreneurs, innovators, researchers, and changemakers, the convening will explore and spotlight how young people are advancing health outcomes while also creating livelihoods, expanding economic opportunity, and strengthening community resilience.
More than a conference, the AHC Annual Convening is an evolving movement that brings together young leaders, health professionals, innovators, academia, governments, development partners, and private sector actors to collectively shape an Africa where health innovation is locally rooted, globally relevant, and driven by the aspirations and leadership of its people.
