Ahead of the UKFIET 2025 conference, BAICE President Professor Arathi Sriprakash will be hosting a workshop series on anti-racism and reparation. In this workshop, authors of recent paper on race and CIE (Yuvraj Singh, Sharon Walker, Simina Dragos, Jess Oddy) will present the key ideas of their work, focusing on theories of: Racialisation, Racial States, and Racial Capitalism. Participants will be encouraged to reflect on how these theories connect to their own research. The session will have opportunities for Q&A and discussion.
