Uganda management institute still accepting papers for their 2019 international conference



The Uganda management institute (UMI) has announced they are still considering abstracts submission specifically for the sub-theme of Public sector Reforms up to 30th January 2019, the initial deadline along the other 5 subthemes was 30th of December 2018. The conference will be held at the Institute in Kampala from 22 to 26 October under the theme of ‘Accountability, Innovation and Quality Public Service Delivery’.

According to UMI, It will be a platform for scholars, students, and practitioners from diverse disciplines of public management to explore avenues for improvements of accountability, innovation and quality service in delivery in developing countries, says call posted by UMI.

This follows the initial conference held on 29 November 2018 at a global distance learning Centre at UMI.

The conference will address 6 sub-themes: public sector reforms, governance, and sustainable development agenda, performance management, monitoring and evaluation, governance, addressing persistent corruption, education, leadership, and management.

It is on these subthemes that interested participants were requested to submit papers and full paper submission deadline has been set at 30th May 2019.
